The functions of UV sterilizer and TOC remover:
TOC stands for Total Organic Carbon. The TOC remover uses 185nm ultraviolet light to directly irradiate water, causing a water splitting reaction and producing active intermediates HO -, H -, and eaq (hydrated electrons). These active intermediates then undergo electrophilic, nucleophilic, or electron transfer reactions with organic matter in water, leading to the degradation and mineralization of organic matter in water, thereby reducing the concentration of TOC. The reaction equation is as follows:
The UV sterilizer uses 274nm ultraviolet light to directly irradiate the water body, which can basically kill all bacteria, viruses, and algae in the water, thus purifying the water quality. In addition, due to the characteristics of instantaneous sterilization, no residue, and no secondary pollution, UV sterilizers are the best choice for water treatment disinfection and sterilization.
Project completion: After assisting the client in installing the UV ultraviolet sterilizer and TOC remover, operational testing and water quality inspection were conducted, and the results showed that the water quality met the standards. This result surprised the customer greatly and they trusted us very much. In the following months, they gradually approached our company to customize more than ten UV sterilizers. In addition, they also introduced a familiar engineering company to cooperate with us, and the cooperation between the two sides was very harmonious!
