     Application technology of ultraviolet TOC remover TOC degradation system in ultrapure water treatment 

    ·TOC stands for Total Organic Carbon, which refers to the content of organic matter in water, expressed in terms of the amount of carbon, the main element in organic matter. It is generally used to measure the degree of organic pollution in water bodies;

    ·The ultraviolet TOC degradation technology mainly uses short wavelength ultraviolet light to excite water molecules to generate strong oxidative free radicals, which oxidize organic matter into cO, H, and 0 molecules in water, thereby achieving efficient TOC degradation and consumption.

     

     Advantages of Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Degradation System: 

    Reduce TOC

    ·185nm ultraviolet light with a minimum dose of 90mj/cm2 produces powerful hydroxyl groups capable of oxidizing total organic carbon (TOC);

    ·Ultraviolet radiation can be used in conjunction with deionization (DI) and reverse osmosis (RO) to effectively reduce the export TOC to a very low level.

    Deozonize

    ·254 wavelength ultraviolet light can efficiently eliminate residual ozone, which quickly decomposes into dissolved oxygen after absorbing ultraviolet energy;

    ·A suitable dose of ultraviolet light can completely decompose a certain concentration of ozone.

    Dechlorination

    ·The TOC remover in the 185nm wavelength band can be used for the degradation of organic matter;

    ·Under the irradiation of 185nm ultraviolet light, water generates hydroxyl radicals (. OH) with strong oxidizing properties, which can quickly and efficiently oxidize chloride ions in water.
